Who We Are

Ord Collect operates a non-custodial Bitcoin Ordinals launchpad at ordcollect.io (the “Platform”). We respect your privacy and handle Personal Information in line with applicable data-protection principles.

Non-custodial note: We never request or store your private keys or seed phrases. All blockchain transactions are signed client-side on your device.

Scope

This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, transfer, and store information when you:

  • browse the Platform,
  • connect a wallet,
  • mint or list an inscription/collection,
  • use our APIs or dashboards,
  • contact us for support.

Information We Collect

  • On-chain data: public Bitcoin addresses, inscription IDs, transaction hashes, balances (to facilitate transactions, show ownership, prevent fraud).
  • Account & contact data: name/alias, email, X/Discord handle, project details you submit (for support, creator onboarding, compliance checks if triggered).
  • Device & usage data: IP address, browser/OS, language, referral URL, pages viewed, clicks, session timing (for analytics, security, UX improvement).
  • Support records: help-desk emails, chat logs, attachments (for customer service and dispute resolution).
  • Marketing preferences: newsletter opt-in, referral codes (to send the updates you asked for).

Lawful bases (illustrative): contract, legitimate interests, consent (for non-essential cookies), and legal obligation where applicable.

Cookies & Similar Tech

We use first-party cookies and privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser; however, if you block essential cookies (e.g., oc_session), wallet-connect, minting, and session flows may not function. How We Use Information

We process information to:

  • provide, secure, and maintain the Platform,
  • enable wallet connections, inscriptions, transfers, and royalties,
  • detect and mitigate fraud, phishing, and sanctions evasion,
  • respond to support requests and fix bugs,
  • improve UI/UX and develop new features,
  • send transactional emails (e.g., mint confirmations) and, if you opt in, marketing messages,
  • comply with applicable laws and lawful requests.

We do not sell or rent your Personal Information.

Sharing & Disclosure

We may share information strictly as needed with:

  • Service providers (hosting, email delivery, analytics, optional KYC vendors),
  • Affiliates under common control,
  • Law enforcement or regulators when legally required or to protect rights and safety,
  • Business transfers (merger or acquisition).

All third parties must use appropriate safeguards and process data only under our instructions.

International Transfers

Primary servers are in the United States (US region). If you are in the EEA/UK and data is transferred to the US, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms recognized by law (e.g., standard contractual clauses), as applicable.

Data Retention

We keep Personal Information no longer than necessary for the purposes above. Unless a longer period is required by law or to resolve disputes, our standard retention is 2 years from your last interaction, after which data is deleted or irreversibly anonymized. On-chain records are inherently public and cannot be deleted; at most we can delist related content from our UI.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object/restrict processing, or request data portability. You may withdraw consent (e.g., unsubscribe) at any time. To exercise rights, email ordcollect69@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Security Measures

We apply industry-standard safeguards, including TLS on all endpoints, strict content-security controls, encrypted backups, and role-based access. We regularly review our security posture. No online service is 100% secure; you accept the residual risk of internet services.

Children’s Privacy

The Platform is not intended for individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact ordcollect69@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will show the revision date at the top and, for material changes, provide an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
